In recent years, the terapeutic landscape for valvular heart disease has rapidly evolved, with both percutaneous and surgical techniques offering increasingly effectives solutions for aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve pathology. While surgical treatment has traditionally represented the gold standard, the advent of innovative transcatheter options has opened new opportunities, particularly for hight risk patients. On the other hand, surgical techniques are changing and novel minimalistic approaches have been developed in order to improve functional recovery and quality of life.

The aim of this course is to offer:
- an overview of current percutaneous and surgical approaches for aortic,mitral and tricuspid valves, including indications and patient selection;
- a detailed description of procedural steps through frontal presentations and live case trasmissions;
- an interactive comparison of percutaneous versus surgical techniques, hightlighting clinical decision-making in challenging scenarios
